Here are six things I got for Christmas that you need and why! I love hearing about what other people get for Christmas and shopping after Christmas sales. Everything underlined is linked (shopping through my links help me out)!
This was not on my list and a totally unexpected find but I LOVE it! I have had the same Vera Bradley pink paisley duffle since I was about 10 and getting a more adult duffle has been on my mind for a while. I needed something that would work for a weekend at home or a carry on for the plane. I found the perfect bag! The material is more of a performance material so it can even get wet and be perfectly fine! It is super mature and still fashionable. I also has the slot on the back to where you can hook it on your suitcase (a NEED) and not have to carry it. Vera Bradley has proven to last for years and is totally worth the investment to me.
I originally had my heart set on some dainty diamond hoops from Pandora, but when I stumbled upon these while shopping at Polo, I fell in love! Plus, these are WAY cheaper and I'm still way to irresponsible to keep track of $100 earrings! I'll get there one day! But the best part about these is that they can be regular gold hoops or diamond hoops! I have never seen this before. These are just the bomb girls. I think I may even get a backup pair!
I also didn't have this guy on my list and my mom surprised us all with one! I have to admit, the first night I didn't know if I wanted to sleep with this on. Now after a week, I can't sleep without it. It has a variety of different sounds and it's portable! The white noise is my personal favorite to sleep with. This is something I never knew I needed.
When I think of spending this much on a pair of leggings, I cringe! But these are such amazing quality and I wear black leggings almost every single day, so to me it's worth it. I'm a die hard fan of align and wunder under as well, but these are my new favorites! So what makes these better than the other styles I love? Well...the material is amazing and all, but what really gets me is the pockets! (Side note: I could not afford nice leggings for a very long time and if you can't thats perfectly okay! I really only get these for Christmas because I personally can't go and blow this kind of money on leggings whenever I want. Marshall's has some great leggings at amazing prices. I am just sharing what I love! If you can save up and buy a nice pair of everyday leggings, I highly recommend! It is worth the investment.)
5. Laptop Desk
I saw this on Ashley Terk's gift guide and once again, something I never knew I needed! I am always in my bed trying to finish up homework, study, and now write blog posts. This is such a practical thing to have, especially as a college student, and I've already started using it! Definitely something to keep in mind for white elephant next year.
I didn't actually purchase this bag until after Christmas but I used Christmas money from my grandparents, so technically a gift? I just have to talk about this. I have never had a "staple bag" and I've been using one I stole from my mom that I think is from Marshall's. I have always wanted to find a nice one I loved but never wanted to spend a ton of money and honestly everything I found was just too basic. This bag caught my eye while walking past the fossil store and drew me in. I didn't get it. The next day I could not stop thinking about it. I went online and saw it was on sale plus an additional 30% off! It's big, but not too big. It was be worn on the shoulder or as a handbag. Need I say more? Such a good find! I love this gem.
